Asheville Affiliates is excited to announce our next party benefitting The SPARC Foundation! Come out and celebrate SPARC's first annual fundraiser with us on October 3rd. SPARC empowers marginalized people with individualized support; increasing self-sufficiency, family health and community safety. They provide education and support in order to keep people out of institutional care and seek to fill gaps in the community where the underserved often fall through.

Enjoy live music by Modern Strangers, bid on some amazing raffles, and party with a purpose at The Boat House at Smoky Park Supper Club - a beautiful location right beside the river. Tickets are $25 and cover all alcohol, food and music. All proceeds will go directly to SPARC's client services.

Asheville Affiliates is excited to announce our next party benefitting Mountain BizWorks! Come out and celebrate Mountain BizWork’s 30th anniversary with us. Mountain Biz is a local non-profit that supports the entrepreneurial community in Western North Carolina. They help small businesses start, grow and thrive by providing business loans, coaching and classes.

Enjoy live music from The Cheeksters, bid on some amazing raffles and party with a purpose in a super fun location! Tickets are $25 and cover all alcohol, food and music.

The Base Camp Bash is an annual event to benefit Streets to Peaks. Streets to Peaks – a Maybin Mission program powered by Camp Grier – provides year around outdoor experiences and a week of summer camp to youth with limited access to wilderness adventures. Through exciting challenges like rock climbing, whitewater paddling, and mountain biking program participants ages 11-18 learn to overcome obstacles, set long term goals and imagine a future with endless possibilities. Originally formed in Asheville, NC in 2016, Streets to Peaks began through the vision and funding of Cameron and Courtney Maybin and their Maybin Mission.

Additional support for Streets to Peaks comes from The Mountain Sports Festival. Proceeds from the Base Camp Bash and the 2018 Mountain Sports Festival will be used to send graduating students to Colorado for their final peak experience in the summer of 2019!

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION:

There is limited on site parking, however there will be shuttles running back and forth from the Carrier Park parking lot located just west of Smoky Mountain Adventure Center. There is also a walking path from the park to the site. Carpooling, Lyft, Uber & cycling is encouraged as well.

Your community radio station, AshevilleFM (103.3fm), celebrates its 9th birthday this year! We’ve planned a fundraising event Thursday, Sept. 13th featuring headliner April B & the Cool and our very own DJs - Kutzu and Devyn Marzoula at the Ambrose West event space. Your ticket purchase includes Food, Drinks, Music, and lots of Fun! There will be items for raffle so get your tickets ahead of time! We hope you’ll join us in keeping AshevilleFM entertaining and informing our great town with your support and attendance!
