Be a Super Hero, June 6th, 2013

Dust off those tights and jump in your bat mobile, come party with the Asheville Affiliates and Eliada.

On June 6th 2013, we are calling all superheros to come join us in supporting Eliada, a home for women and children, with a focus on helping kids succeed. Don those capes and spandex leggings, it’s time to get down to business and start raisin’ funds.

We at the Affiliates know it ain’t easy being a superhero. Getting shot at, fighting crime, saving the world - it’s hard stuff. So we pulled in a few favors from some friends to help quench your thirst and fill your bellies. Catawba Valley Brewing will be bringing the kegs, while Skyland Distributing will be serving up the classy 007 wine. We know superheros sometimes have REALLY BAD days, so we called in an extra favor from Carriage House Distillery, who is offering tastings of apple brandy, moonshine and more. Performance Food Group will be supplying great grub to make sure you are ready to handle your next world ending catastrophe or death defying villain.

In keeping with our fundraising tradition, we have rounded up some of the best raffle and silent auction prizes you can imagine. We even landed a superhero worthy kayak from Diamond Brand - a supplier to superheros worldwide.

Other events and features will include aerial acrobatics, photo booths, live tattooing by Freaks and Geeks, and music by DJ Kipper. Meghan Rolfe Photography will be photographing the event, capturing the memorable fun.

Panda Suits, and the Leopard Print Heels.
